Best fish restaurant in the region. If you come to the Wesermarsch, you should definitely try the very tasty Neptun plate or the kibbeling.

Today we bought two fried herring rolls and I hardly saw any fish and the fish is also not so well marinated in the delicious marinade. So for me it means we make our way from Bremen

We met yesterday at the Neptune fish market to get delicious fish sandwiches. Yes, the entrance was not easy to find due to Corona, was ok. A maximum of 2 people were allowed into the fairly large sales room. The offer was quite limited, then we opted for saithe fillet and bismarck herring (with extra onions) in the bun, which was then served us lovingly in two naked buns without a lettuce leaf or similar on small plates without napkins. We then filled out a small data sheet and then went into the sterile large dining room which was cleaned, sterilized 😏 by a young employee and processed under great noise and we sat there alone with our meal. Every annoying noise (sticking boxes into each other, moving chairs etc. sounded quite loud) whereby films from the fishing were shown on a screen in the middle of the wall, including their disassembly etc.! 😳 We were pretty exhausted from a bike tour but comfortable sitting with food and drink and a little chilling was not in here. Positive: the fish was delicious and the toilets were very clean. But we were happy to get out of Neptune again. Corona back and forth, but it could be a bit more sensitive and cordial.

Eating so-so, we had promised more of it. Everything was very greasy, especially the fried potatoes were swimming in the oil on the plate. In our opinion, the plaice plate was a cheek. Only "baby floes" that would be better kept in the sea and could have grown.

The Neptune fish marketing has almost become our regular contact point for lunch when we visit our parents' house. The market is about 10 km away, but we like to drive for a delicious lunch. The location on the Braker lock to the inland port gives the right atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Fish and side dishes are great. Besides the fish, of course, I love the fried potatoes 😊. The prices are reasonable, we are completely satisfied.

Almost right next to my work, so I've been there quite often. It can therefore get really busy at midday beats. Price performance is second to none. I am particularly impressed by the Kibbelingen and the plaice. Side dishes I can recommend all the way through the bank. I am very satisfied so far.
